FOR TEACHERS

See what pupils practised. Decide what comes next.

SkillFlex brings pupil practice, responses and follow-up together. Teachers can see how pupils approached an activity and use that information to plan an appropriate next step.

RESPONSES AND RETRIES

See more than a final score.

A completed activity does not always reveal the whole learning journey. A pupil may answer correctly first time, need a retry or struggle repeatedly with the same idea.

SkillFlex keeps responses and attempts visible so teachers can decide what may need another look.

ONE QUESTION · TWO USEFUL MOMENTS

The initial response stays part of the story.

Compare the question as it was first presented with the feedback after an incorrect response. A retry supports continued practice without hiding that another attempt was needed.

PUPIL AND CLASS VISIBILITY

Look closely at one pupil. Step back to see the class.

Teachers can review completion, responses, attempts and retries. Pupil-level detail helps explain an individual journey, while class-level patterns help identify skills that may warrant a shared revisit.

TEACHER JUDGEMENT

A minor slip—or a possible learning gap?

Response information gives teachers useful context. It supports professional judgement rather than replacing classroom teaching and assessment.

A self-correction

A pupil may recognise an error and answer correctly on the next attempt.

Persistent difficulty

Repeated difficulty with the same idea may indicate that focused follow-up would be useful.

LEARNING SUPPORT

Move from insight to targeted support.

Organise support, core and stretch activities, provide selected pupils with appropriate practice and review subsequent attempts and progress.
